Eid Mubarak: Shawwal moon sighted in Saudi Arabia
The moon-sighting board in Saudi Arabia has declared that today (Saturday, June 24) will be the last day of Ramadan, and that Sunday (June 25) will be the principal day of the time of Shawwal and the main day of Eid Ul Fitr.
The UAE moon-sighting board of trustees has likewise assembled in Abu Dhabi to sight the crescent in the country. An official declaration on the sighting of the crescent is expected shortly.
Prior, Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, UAE Minister of Justice, has issued a choice to set up the moon-sighting board of trustees for the heavenly month of Ramadan to affirm the begin of the time of Shawwal, which will check the finish of Ramadan and begin of Eid Ul Fitr.
